What are the credentials of the clinician?

Do you need to contact your GP before and after the treatment?
Yes! We do ask that you obtain a doctor’s letter to make sure that there are no contraindications for you to receive the treatment, also your GP will need to declare that you are fit fly for 2.5-3 hours as well as fit to further travel another 1.5 hour with mini breaks to avoid deep venous thrombosis and pulmonary embolism.
Your GP is also expected to state that you are fit to participate in light exercise and required to fill out our Application Form which contains and enhanced PAR-Q questionnaire form.
The clinicians and The Volcanic Vascular Health will advise you to be followed up within one or two months after return, the only way to avoid lack of follow up after you return home, if your GP is involved from the very beginning.
It is well known that if clients are seeking treatment abroad and when they return home, if the medical tourism journey was not properly planned and organized, clients could face abandonment on return by their local physician. Therefore, we hold the right to turn you away.
Can I just turn up at the clinic at any time?
No, you are not advised, as The Volcanic Vascular Health is the only English speaker interpreter with medical background who is appointed by the Hungarian clinicians for this post. The Volcanic Vascular Health founder is the only networker, Co-ordinator for foreign clients who speaks English or German.
The Volcanic Vascular Health will only be staying in Hungary when adequate amount of clients booked for treatment. Also, the clinic is closed during Hungarian bank holidays and these days are different from other countries.
Are the clinic , transport and accomodation providers fully insured?
Yes, The clinic holds different insurance for each department. The clinic only employes part time ambulance crew for the delivery of the treatment.
Clients are expected to follow The Volcanic Vascular Health verbal instructions as well as laminated instructions during, treatment delivery, transportation and staying in family houses as well as in a chosen hotel.
If clients are causing damage to any services property, they will be asked to settle payment in cash before they will be returned to the airport. Depending on the nature of the damage, client could be turned away from future treatment.
What am I supposed to do after being accepted to the clinic?
You will be instructed by the Volcanic Vascular Health to book your own flight ticket at the recommended date, you will be asked to arrange your private medical insurance and you will need to inform the insurance company about the treatment and they will need to provide you details of the hospital you should be taken incase of emergency, therefore it is vital that you share this with the Volcanic Vascular who will be informig the hospital and working out direct route for you in advance!
You will also need to hold a valid EHIC card, please be aware this might change after BREXIT.
How will I be able to avoid ground transfer risks?
When you purchased your flight ticket, you will need to inform The Volcanic Vascular Health who will secure and co-ordinate your place from the Budapest Airport to your accomodation.
There is only one transport company The Volcanic Vascular Health found saficient and relaible to avoid gound transfers risks of being transferred in the wrong type of vehicle (too small, too high) or by an unsafe vehicle or unsafe, unvetted and uninsured or underinsured driver.
The important information we: The Volcanic Vascular Health and the transport company MUST receive is your surname, flight number and a text when you went through the boarding gate's security check, as from that moment they will be able to track your flight, and no need for you to worry any further as they will wait for you at the airport.
Will you be able to participate in sightseeing?
Yes, and your focus should be on healing, health management as the treatment will affect every individual differently. As per Clinicians guidelines you will be asked to do exercises to allow more oxygen to enter your circulation system and that way your body will be able to accomodate more Volcanic Carbon Dioxide to enter though your pores. You will be instructed by clinicians to drink plenty of fluid and this means that if you are safe to have 2 treatments a day, you are expected to relax, hydrate and not to rush around.
