We attended an excellent event, that was organised by Sterling Events with an engaging audience of GP's, specialist nurses, physiotherapist and podiatrists in Birmingham.
It was a great place to meet the right people to be able to disseminate our health information to health care professionals, to increase awareness and understanding of our unique evidence based treatment that is being delivered in Hungary.
We have been networking with health professionals who were actively looking to improve their knowledge and support patients’ needs in their own field and managed to raise awareness about our non-invasive treatment for vascular and autoimmune conditions. Lots of questions were generated by podiatrist and GP's, it was obvious that the population in England is in a great needs of a safe and cost effective treatment option that reduces burden not only on the NHS but also on practise/community nurses, therapists and family members and improves quality of life safely and effectively as well as reduces long lasting sickness.
We explained how our treatment works Dr. Igyarto, from the Hungarian clinic, who specialise in Cardiology and Respiratory field, provided supporting evidence of the clinical outcome measures and also discussed the importance of the referral system as well as the triaging process.
Volcanic Vascular Health highlighted the importance of working in partnership with GP's in England, to make sure that clients who are seeking treatment abroad are being screened by their GP, who could provide most up to date information about the client and also acts on abnormal blood results, ECG and Chest X-ray before raising referal to the Volcanic Vascular Health for an initial triage.
Volcanic Vascular Health explained the importance of communication prior, during and after the treatment, it was also highlighted the importance to get a direct contact with GP practice as any advice or recommendation could be smoothly delivered and acted during and after returning from the clinic.
Volcanic Vascular Health is aware of the incidents GP's are facing on a daily basis when clients are receiving treatments abroad and following return to the UK, GP's are expected to deal with challanging situations.
